Hi everyone, It’s been getting warmer and sunnier but it’s also the start of allergy season! Do you have allergies? I didn’t have any allergies back home in Vancouver but here in Tokyo my allergies are pretty bad. My first spring here, I thought I came down with a cold. I had most of the symptoms but after a few days, my friend suggested I might be suffering from hay-fever. I went to a doctor and he confirmed that like many people, I am allergic to cedar pollen. Unfortunately for us, Tokyo is surrounded with cedar trees and there isn’t much nature to absorb the pollen. Combined with the strong winds, these things make Tokyo a bad place for allergies.
