Did you know there are over 50,000 different species of mushrooms… When I was in high school, my Russian friend used to take me mushroom hunting around the forests of Boston. We found many tasty fungi. Just recently, I found out that my wife’s aunt is a professional mushroom hunter in Iwate, in the Tohoku region of Japan. Soon, I will travel north to find huge Shitake! The other day, I was walking in the forests of Tama-shi and found this very interesting looking mushroom. I named it, "Rudolph." It’s poisonous, so don’t eat it! 新宿校インストラクター/Jesse
