Hello all you football fans! Of course you know that the more exciting part of The Champions’ League is now underway?! The last sixteen. The quarter-finals. The semis. Then the Final. It’s all happening over the next few months. Exciting stuff! Last night Manchester United played to a goalless draw in Milan against Inter with the return leg at Old Trafford on March 11th, and tonight it’s Real Madrid v Liverpool amongst others. All the big names. All the drama and action. Last year’s final was a really great one, wasn’t it?! Extra time, penalties, then a chance to win the tournament with a penalty by John Terry, the captain of Chelsea, all he had to do was score and Chelsea had it in the bag! Then… in the freezing rain of Moscow he stepped up… kicked the ball to his right…the keeper wasn’t going to get to it…but!…at the same time his left foot slipped on the greasy turf and his shot hit the post!
