On the 20th of July I went to Yokohama with my classmates to see the fireworks display. Japanese people seem like to dress up in yukata for fireworks. We decided to do exactly the same, and go to see it wearing yukata. I go to a Japanese Language School, so of course all of my classmates are foreigners too, and no one had to much experience with the traditional Japanese summer clothing. Actually we had to practice beforehand, and to wear yukata was a hard work for us even so, but it was worth the trouble, and was very fun. We had a spot with a very nice view, and the fireworks were really great. I liked especially the funny shaped ones, like ‘smile face’ and ‘hello kitty’. All in all, it was a great night with friends and yukata!/銀座校受付スタッフ ガビ
