My parents visited me in Tokyo during Silver Week. I hadn’t seen them in a year and the last time they were in Tokyo was over twenty years ago. My cousin and I were with them when they came here in 1987. I was only 10 or 11 at the time but remember being amazed at how crowded it was. This time I took them to Nikko to see Toshogu Shrine which my mom enjoyed a lot. I also took them to Yokohama for the final day of the 150 year anniversary of the port. There were a lot of exhibits and events, maybe too many ? they got pretty tired from walking too much.On their last day I took them on a tour of Shinjuku. There was a festival that day. We went to Shinjuku Gyoen and had lunch at a nice soba restaurant. For dinner, I took them to Tsunahachi ? the popular tempura restaurant, which they said was delicious. They said they enjoyed their visit to Tokyo and hope to see more of it next time./銀座インストラクター Gerald
